The Name
Why the Trumpet?
Throughout history, the sound of the trumpet has been a call — a call to gather, to celebrate, to come together as one. In ancient times it signaled the start of a feast. In Scripture it announced the presence of something sacred.
That's exactly what we want Trumpeter Sound Café to be: a sound that calls people in. A place where the doors are always open, the coffee is always warm, and the welcome is always genuine.
The trumpet doesn't whisper. It announces. And we want this café to announce — loudly and clearly — that you are welcome here.
For where two or three gather together in my name, there am I with them.

Trumpeter Sound Café began with a simple love for serving people. Our journey started in Ohio, where we owned and operated a breakfast food truck. We quickly learned that the best part of serving great food wasn't just the meals — it was the conversations, friendships, and sense of community that formed around them.
When we inherited our family farm, we moved our family and animals to Beaverton, Michigan, to begin a new chapter. As we settled into this wonderful community, we saw an opportunity to create something special — a welcoming place where people could gather, connect, and enjoy more than just great coffee.
Today, Trumpeter Sound Café is being built with that vision in mind: a locally owned, family-operated coffeehouse where neighbors become friends, conversations are shared, and community comes first.
